Essential Job Functions:

Install, maintain, and service residential, commercial, and industrial HVAC and boiler systems
Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
Properly size, layout, and install HVAC equipment and ductwork
Diagnose system issues and perform accurate repairs and replacements
Charge, recover, and reclaim refrigerants following EPA standards
Braze and solder refrigerant line sets as needed
Ensure compliance with Michigan Mechanical Code and all applicable safety guidelines (OSHA, MIOSHA, MSHA)
Maintain accurate and timely job documentation and field reports
Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and team members
Keep company vehicle clean and organized; care for company-owned tools and equipment

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of HVAC installation and/or service experience
Strong working knowledge and hands-on experience with boiler systems
EPA 608 Universal Certification (Required)
Valid Michigan Chauffeur's License with current Medical Card
Ability to read and work from blueprints and schematics
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and working in varying environments
Must be available for on-call HVAC service needs, including after-hours and weekends
