Join Our Team in the Commercial HVAC Service Department at Progressive Mechanical Services! Are you a skilled leader with a strong technical background who thrives on building teams, delivering top-quality service, and exceeding client expectations? Progressive Mechanical Services, a family-owned company established in 2017, is looking for a dependable Commercial Service Manager to join our team.
In this key leadership role, you'll oversee our service department operations, mentor a talented team of technicians, manage customer relationships, and ensure every job meets our high standards for safety, efficiency, and quality.
Pay Range: $90,000-100,000 annually + bonus opportunities
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm with occasional weekend hours initially to work side-by-side with leadership at the start of employment

Your Role as a Commercial HVAC Service Manager:
- Lead, mentor, and manage HVAC service technicians, including scheduling, performance reviews, and training
- Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients, ensuring satisfaction and timely contract renewals
- Oversee service schedules, preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, and dispatch
- Provide technical guidance for diagnosing and repairing complex HVAC systems
- Manage departmental budgets, approve costs, and ensure profitability
- Enforce safety protocols, lead regular safety meetings, and ensure regulatory compliance
- Prepare service invoices and performance reports, maintaining accurate records of all service work
What We're Looking For:
- Proven leadership experience in HVAC service management (commercial experience preferred)
- 5-7 years of experience in HVAC installation or service field, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory role
- Highly organized, with experience managing schedules, invoicing, and coordinating teams
- EPA Certification is required (additional industry certifications required)
- Commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency
- Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills
