Job Description

We are seeking an experienced HVAC & Heat Pump Water Heater Service Technician who is a strong problem-solver, team player, and committed to delivering excellent customer service. This is not an entry-level position—we’re looking for someone with proven field experience who can independently troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVAC systems and heat pump water heaters in residential settings.

Compensation:

$30 - $55 hourly

Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVAC systems and heat pump water heaters
Install and replace components as needed
Diagnose electrical issues using a multimeter
Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints
Check and adjust refrigerant charge
Commission newly installed systems for optimal performance
Perform routine maintenance on installed systems, including HPWHs
Deliver fast, effective solutions while maintaining high-quality standards
Provide excellent customer communication and service

Qualifications:

EPA 608 Refrigerant Certification (required)
Minimum 3 years of HVAC field experience, including experience with heat pump water heaters
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (5+ years driving experience)
Strong electrical diagnostic skills
Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics
Organized, professional, and customer-focused
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet
