Mr. Rooter Plumbing & HVAC is seeking a skilled and customer-focused HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, maintain, and install residential HVAC systems. This role is ideal for a technician who takes pride in quality workmanship, values honest communication, and wants to be part of a company that supports its field team with strong systems, training, and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair residential heating, cooling, and ventilation systems
Perform routine maintenance and system inspections
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and airflow issues
Clearly explain findings and repair options to homeowners
Provide accurate recommendations without high-pressure sales tactics
Maintain detailed service notes and documentation using ServiceTitan
Follow all safety procedures and company standards
Maintain a clean, professional appearance and service vehicle
Participate in training and team meetings as required

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years HVAC service experience (residential preferred)
EPA Certification (required)
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Professional communication and customer service skills
Ability to lift equipment and work in attics, crawlspaces, and confined areas

Preferred Qualifications

Additional HVAC certifications or specialized training
Experience with ServiceTitan or similar field service software
Installation experience (not required but a plus)
