What You’ll Do
Diagnose, service, repair, and maintain residential heating and cooling systems.
Work on furnaces, boilers, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini-splits, air handlers, and indoor air quality equipment.
Troubleshoot electrical, refrigeration, airflow, mechanical, hydronic, and combustion-related issues.
Perform preventive maintenance, equipment startups, system testing, and safety inspections.
Explain diagnosed problems and recommend appropriate repair, maintenance, or replacement options.
Obtain customer approval before completing work and collect payment when appropriate.
Maintain accurate service notes, equipment records, photos, and follow-up information.
Communicate parts, scheduling, and return-trip needs promptly to the office.
Protect customers’ homes and maintain a clean, professional work area.
Maintain assigned vehicles, tools, diagnostic equipment, and truck inventory.
Participate in required meetings, technical training, and professional development.
What We’re Looking For
Previous residential HVAC service, repair, and maintenance experience.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
Experience servicing furnaces, boilers, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini-splits, and related systems.
Knowledge of refrigeration, electrical, airflow, combustion, hydronic, and control systems.
Ability to independently manage service calls from diagnosis through completion.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to explain technical findings and available solutions clearly to homeowners.
Commitment to safe, dependable, and high-quality work.
EPA Universal Certification required.
Comfortable using tablets, mobile applications, and field service software.
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Ability to perform physical work in attics, basements, crawl spaces, mechanical rooms, and outdoor conditions.
