Key Responsibilities
As a Residential HVAC Service Technician, you'll be instrumental in ensuring optimal air conditioning performance, with responsibilities including:
- Skillfully brazing and soldering various metals for secure piping connections.
- Expertly installing, modifying, or repairing air ducts, indoor units, drain pans, drain lines, and outdoor units.
- Precisely installing and calibrating thermostats, humidistats, solenoids, and timers.
- Conscientiously inspecting inoperative indoor or outdoor units to pinpoint the root causes of trouble.
- Efficiently disassembling indoor or outdoor units to replace or repair defective parts.
- Performing essential preventive maintenance tasks such as drain cleaning, coil sanitizing, and motor lubrication.
- Comprehensively evaluating equipment operations after repairs using a range of instruments including gauges, voltmeters, leak detectors, sling pycnometers, static, and velocity instruments.
- Demonstrate strong product knowledge to support add-on sales and help customers make informed decisions
What We Need From You
- A minimum of 3 years of current Residential HVAC field experience is required.
- EPA Universal certification is required
- A valid Florida driver's license.
- Proven experience with low & high voltage wiring.
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
- Service Titan experience is a plus
- The ability to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to successfully pass an extensive background check and drug test
