Title: HVAC - Light Maintenance Technician

Location: Dayton, OHSalary: up to $24.72/hrHours: Monday- Friday, 7:00a- 3:30pWhat’s in it for me?

What Will I Be Doing?

Here are just a few things you can expect to do daily: 

  • Teammembermust be able to work in ateam orientedand safety conscious environment. “Safety First” expectations include, but are not limited to, PJHA process, Observation process, and all company / site safety guidelines and procedures.

  • Assigned tasks list to include, but not limited to, repairs and preventive maintenance on heating/air conditioning and/or refrigeration systems. Assigned tasks list to include, but not limited to, repairs and preventive maintenance on heating/air conditioning and/or refrigeration systems.Expectationsof task completionrangefrom task completion with minimal supervision to task completion with ability to direct other team members, reliant upon assigned tasks andemployee’sdevelopment.

  • This position requires the employee to work without supervision.

  • Responsibilities include equipment installation; repairs to heating,ventilation,and air conditioning equipment; troubleshooting malfunctions and preventive maintenance on such equipment; refrigeration and repairs; refrigeration troubleshooting and repairs; and other mechanical related work as assigned.

  • Repairs and preventive maintenance to be performed inconformancewith established standards.Assistin formulating preventive maintenance standards / work procedures while performing those duties andprovidework order feedback on discrepancies noted in service delivery.

  • Must have working knowledge of hand / power tools, HVAC & refrigeration tools, rigging, and Preventive / Predictive Maintenance.

  • Works from elevated areas such as ladders, platforms, scaffolding, etc.utilizingfall protection equipment as necessary to complete tasks

  • Must have the flexibility to work all shifts including holidays and weekends as demanded by the job.

  • Employeewill performany and allother duties that are assigned by the responsible supervisor.

  • Ensurescompliance with all company / customer regulations, policies, and procedures.

  • Achieve performance expectations set forth as part of performance appraisals to include employee development planning.

  • Communications with all team members toassistthe development ofshort- and long-rangeplanning in assist of the company’s goals and objectives

  • Maintainpersonaltoolsrequired for your job to include an up to date documented personal toollist. Required toollistingto be supplied as part of employment.

  • Meetphysicalrequirements of the job. Physical requirementsofthe job will be provided to you prior to employment.

  • Perform assigned tasks in a safety, effective, and efficient manner. A more detailed listing of typical tasks will be supplied as part of employment.

  • Accurate andtimelyadministrative duties to include, but not limited to, time accounting and work order completion.

  • Experience: 5+years' experiencein industrial HVAC/refrigeration maintenance and repairs

  • Certification: EPA Certificate- Universal Technician
