HVAC Tech

HVAC Techs will be responsible for all upkeep and repair duties including identifying the need for repairs, responding to guests’, and servicing company equipment.

To be an effective HVAC Tech, the candidate needs to be skilled, hard-working and have outstanding problem-solving abilities. Physical stamina and strong technical knowledge are important parts of the successful candidate’s talents.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair company machinery equipment or appliances
• While walking throughout the property, make note of items in need of attention
• Keep all maintenance storage areas neat and clean
• Be an active participant in inventory control
• Knowing how to interpret various technical data, such as pressure and temperature
• Installing, maintaining and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
• Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
• Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.
• Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
• Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements.
• Assisting with customers' queries.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent qualification required
• Minimum of 2 years working experience in a similar role
• Extremely organized with good communication skills
• Detailed oriented with an aptitude for problem-solving
• Must be a team player
