Hvac Technician

Qualifications and responsibilities for this HVAC Technician position include:

• High School Diploma or Equivalency required and ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair heating, air conditioning, and ventilation systems
• 2 to 3 years of HVAC installation and service experience required with experience performing preventative maintenance and start-ups on new equipment
• EPA Certification required or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire and experience handling refrigerant in compliance with EPA guidelines
• Valid NYS Driver’s License required and ability to respond to HVAC service needs including occasional after-hours situations
• Experience with heat pumps and related equipment and ability to service boilers, furnaces, AHUs, condensers, and other HVAC systems
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical building systems and ability to complete regulatory paperwork and work orders accurately
• Proficiency with MS Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel and ability to enter data and receipts into a work order system
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks including stooping, kneeling, climbing, and repetitive hand movements while maintaining a professional appearance

Salary: $28.00 - $36.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
