About the Job: HVAC Technician - to do Maintenance/Service/Installation in Brandon, FL. The job is in Brandon and in the surrounding cities. Must have 3 to 10 years of Residential HVAC experience. We Offer: Great pay based on experience, our top guys earn $22, $28, and $30+ an hour. Run your own truck, we provide the vehicle with expenses paid. Qualifications: Must read, write, and speak fluent English. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Valid social security number. Must pass a background check. EPA Certification is required. OSHA 10 certification, is preferred but not required. Key Duties: Install, service, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and cooling units for residential customers. Diagnose and repair electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of the AC systems. Conduct all HVACR jobs in a prompt and professional manner. Perform routine HVACR service activities without direct oversight or on-site assistance. Travel to job sites in a service area and work with dispatch to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to customers. Be available to work nights or weekends on a rotating basis to service the emergency needs of our customers. Maintain good working order of company vehicles including refueling as necessary, reporting any mechanical issues, and filling out and submitting monthly vehicle inspection forms. Physical/Work Environment Requirements: Must be able to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs. Be able to bend/stoop, squat/crouch, climb, kneel, and twist. Must be able to climb ladders, work both inside and outside, and around moving equipment safely.
