HVAC Technician Blaine, MN Temp-to-Perm, Full-TimeTempExperts is seeking an HVAC Technician in Blaine, MN for a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity. This role supports the day-to-day operation of HVAC and mechanical systems within an industrial/large commercial environment, ensuring equipment runs safely, efficiently, and reliably.Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on HVAC and mechanical equipment.*
• Conduct routine inspections; monitor metering equipment; adjust operating levels to maintain continuous operation.*
• Identify and resolve safety-related issues; evaluate equipment to prevent potential failures.*
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair ventilation systems, pumps, fans, chillers, rooftop units, split systems, compressors, and refrigeration equipment.*
• Utilize building automation systems to monitor facility conditions and system performance.*
• Recharge refrigerant, detect leaks, and confirm proper refrigerant-cycle operation.*
• Complete scheduled maintenance tasks using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).*
• Respond to work orders and communicate status updates while ensuring compliance with codes and regulations.*
• Follow safety protocols including lockout/tagout procedures and proper PPE usage.*
• Use diagnostic tools and instruments to support equipment performance and energy-efficiency initiatives.*
• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic and/or paper systems.*
• Collaborate with team members and support site emergencies as needed.*
• Perform additional duties as assigned.*
• Requirements/Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent.*
• 3+ years of HVAC/R maintenance experience in industrial or commercial environments.*
• Ability to work at heights using aerial or scissor lifts.*
• Strong communication and customer service skills.*
• Ability to pass respirator medical evaluation and fit testing.*
• Ability to pass a pre-employment substance abuse screening.*
• Ability to obtain required security access credentials.*
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).*
• Ability to obtain a valid driver’s license if required and maintain facility authorization credentials.*
• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required (no sponsorship available).*
• Technical degree preferred.*
• EPA Universal Refrigeration certification preferred (or ability to obtain).*
• Experience in GMP or regulated environments preferred.*
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics, and technical drawings.*
• Experience with industrial systems such as boilers, chillers, cooling towers, compressors, and automation systems preferred.*
• Experience with CMMS systems (Maximo preferred).*
• Predictive maintenance experience is a plus.
