Job Description

Position SummaryThe HVAC Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for commercial and industrial clients. This position plays a key role in ensuring that all systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities• Diagnose and repair heating, cooling, and ventilation systems including rooftop units, chillers, boilers, VAV systems, and controls• Perform preventive maintenance to improve performance and extend equipment life• Install new HVAC systems and components according to specifications and blueprints• Test system performance using appropriate tools and adjust controls for proper operation• Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and customer communications• Respond promptly to service calls and provide exceptional customer service• Ensure compliance with safety policies, building codes, and environmental regulations• Collaborate with other trades and departments to complete projects efficiently• Provide recommendations for system improvements and energy efficiency

Qualifications• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or HVAC degree preferred• Minimum of 3 years of HVAC experience in commercial or industrial environments• EPA Universal Certification required• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics• Excellent communication and customer service skills• Self-motivated, organized, and dependable

Physical Requirements• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying environmental conditions• Ability to stand, climb, and work at heights for extended periods
