Job Description

PeopleReady Skilled Trades (PRST) is seeking a motivated HVAC Worker – Sheet Metal Installer for a renovation and addition project in Norwich, CT.

This is a commercial healthcare project requiring skilled sheet metal and piping experience in an active facility environment.

  • Position: HVAC Worker – Licensed CT Sheet Metal Installer (Mid-Level)

  • Project Name: Advanced Sheetmetal Associates 

  • Location: Norwich, CT 

  • Pay Rate: $45.00 per hour

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday

  • Start Time: 6:00 AM

  • Hours: 8 hours per day

  • Job Type: Non-Residential (Renovation & Addition)

  • Parking: Onsite (Supervisor will direct parking)

  • Drug Test: Not Required

  • Background Check: National Sex Offender Registry Check Required

Job Duties Include:

  • Installing sheet metal ductwork

  • Performing piping work

  • Assisting with HVAC renovations and additions

  • Working from blueprints and project plans

  • Maintaining strict safety standards in a healthcare setting

  • Mid-level experience as an HVAC Sheet Metal Installer

  • Experience working in commercial or healthcare environments preferred

  • Ability to perform piping and sheet metal installation

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints

  • Must have standard sheet metal mechanic tools

  • Must be able to pass a National Sex Offender Registry background check

  • Ability to work Monday–Friday starting at 6:00 AM
