Summary of Position
The Inventory Specialistis responsible forperforming clerical and physical tasks in connection with cycle counting, storing parts, processing, shippinggoodsand receiving incoming shipments.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Receive goods and materials in SAP system
Prepare items for shipment in SAP system
Issue purchase orders to the Supply Chain team
Deliver parts and materials to factory floor and other designated areas
Cycle Counting
Receive and distribute parts from parts cage
Maintains clean and orderly work area
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent plus at least two (2) years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
Additional Skills Required
Strong work ethic
Strong computer knowledge
Excellent attendance and quality of work record
Must be fork truck certified
Working understanding of basic math
Able to read tape measure
Working Conditions
Primarily indoor work with exposure to outdoor conditions, temperature variations, noise, vibration, and mechanical and electrical hazards.
Physical Demands
Walking 50%, Sitting 45%, Standing 5%. Lifting up to 60lbs, pushing/pulling up to 200lbswith assistance. Medium strengthlevel.
Qualifications
Must be able to perform all essential duties satisfactorily with the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
