We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-experienced E-Billing Specialist to join our law firm. This is a hybrid position, offering a unique blend of 1 day remote and 4 days in-office work. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of electronic billing for the firm, ensuring that all invoices are accurately generated, reconciled, and submitted in a timely manner. This role requires a deep understanding of basic accounting principles, proficiency in eBilling systems, and a keen eye for detail. The candidate must have a minimum of 3 plus years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a law firm.

Responsibilities

As an E-Billing Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Manage the e-billing process from start to finish, including setting up new clients in the e-billing system, submitting invoices, and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
2. Reconcile client accounts and ensure all billing information is accurate and up-to-date.
3. Generate detailed billing reports for management, highlighting any trends or potential issues.
4. Work closely with attorneys and other staff to ensure all billable hours are accurately recorded and billed in a timely manner.
5. Maintain the General Ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and reflect the correct billing information.
6. Utilize advanced billing software such as CounselLink, LegalTracker, and Aderant to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
7. Keep up-to-date with the latest e-billing trends and technologies to ensure our firm remains at the forefront of the industry.
8. Address any queries or concerns from clients regarding their bills in a professional and timely manner.

Qualifications

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will need:

1. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within a law firm environment.
2. Proven experience using advanced billing software such as CounselLink, LegalTracker, and Aderant.
3. Strong financial acumen, with the ability to reconcile accounts and maintain a General Ledger.
4. Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to generate accurate and detailed billing reports.
5. Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise with colleagues and clients at all levels.
6. A proactive approach, with the ability to identify and resolve issues before they become problems.
7. A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
8. A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality.
