Job DetailsWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Hybrid Estate Planning Paralegal to join our team in the Finance industry. The successful candidate will have a strong background in estate administration, paralegal certification, and a bachelor's degree or equivalent. In addition, the candidate must possess knowledge of accounting procedures, Maryland, DC and Virginia Code provisions relating to estates and trusts, filing procedures, and local court probate rules and procedures. The position is full-time and requires a minimum of 3 years of experience.Responsibilities:

Review and analyze will and trust provisions
Meet and communicate directly with sophisticated clients on estate planning matters
Prepare fiduciary Inventories
Prepare Federal, Maryland and DC estate tax returns
Prepare Federal gift tax returns
Facilitate trust administrations

Qualifications:

3+ years of prior estate administration experience and appropriate educational background
Paralegal certificate, bachelor's degree or equivalent
Knowledge of accounting procedures, Maryland, DC and Virginia Code provisions relating to estates and trusts, filing procedures, and local court probate rules and procedures
Prior experience preparing estate and gift tax returns and understanding will and trust provisions is essential
