The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare administration, with a focus on coordinating and managing departmental activities. This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and a keen attention to detail. Responsibilities:
- Monitor and triage incoming emails, ensuring all communications are promptly and appropriately addressed.
- Assign and enter staff schedules into scheduling platform, ensuring all shifts are adequately covered.
- Answer incoming calls, providing information and assistance as necessary.
- Request performance evaluations for staff and distribute incoming evaluations to the appropriate manager.
- Communicate staff absences or schedule changes to relevant departments.
- Remind staff of upcoming compliance deadlines, ensuring all staff are aware of and meet these deadlines.
- Schedule and coordinate departmental meetings, including preparing and distributing meeting agendas and transcribing meeting minutes.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare administration.
- At least 1 year of administrative experience in a hospital setting or 2 years of administrative experience in a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience in coordinating and managing departmental activities.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions quickly and effectively.
