Job Description
We are seeking a Biller/Collector II for an initial 12-month contract. This position comes with the likeliness of an extension or a direct offer.This is a HYBRID position, requiring 1-2 days per week onsite in Irwindale, CA.Pay: $25.30/hourShift: 8:00am-4:30pm PST Monday-FridayWe offer the most important benefits to attract and retain the most qualified staff. Our insurance plans come in multiple options, not limiting you a singular plan.- No waiting periods!- Dental- Vision Care- Life Insurance- Disability Insurance401(k) Plan- Annual scholarship program- Weekly Direct Deposit- W2 Electronic delivery- Airport parking discount- Corporate discountsPosition Details:Collects and recovers the payment from patients and insurance companies for delinquent hospital/medical patient accounts. - Initiates outbound calls that potentially lead to successful payment or timely arrangement to satisfy delinquent accounts. - Talks with payers, such as commercial insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid, to resolve problems and gather additional information needed to collect debt. - Works with customers to find and arrange collection solutions. - Ensures billing is complete and accurate. Minimum Qualifications & Experience:- High School or equivalent- 3-5 years of experience.- Strong experience with Medi Cal hospital billing, including inpatient and outpatient claims - Skilled in collections, follow up, denial resolution, and account reconciliation - Familiar with Medi Cal guidelines, reimbursement rules, and timely filing requirements - Ability to work high volume accounts and resolve complex billing issues efficiently - Hospital billing experience ONLY!
