Youll work closely with the HR and finance teams to streamline payroll operations and maintain compliance across multiple states.What You'll DoAs a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Process payroll for a large, multi-state workforce of more than 8,000 employees, ensuring timely and accurate compensation *
- Execute payroll processing batches and perform system validations to support efficient and error-free payroll cycles.*
- Maintain and update employee payroll records by entering and verifying data within the organization's payroll platform.*
- Review payroll documentation for accuracy, ensuring all records comply with internal procedures as well as federal, state, and local regulations.*
- Investigate and resolve payroll-related questions and discrepancies by partnering with employees and internal departments
- Practical experience using payroll platforms to process employee payroll accurately and efficiently.*
- 1-2 of payroll administration experience, including exposure to payroll processing across multiple states.*
- Strong attention to accuracy with the organizational skills needed to manage and validate large volumes of payroll information.*
- Self-motivated and capable of prioritizing responsibilities while working independently in a remote work environment.
