Soccer Shots is the #1 Children's Soccer program in the country. Why? Aside from the incredible curriculum, leadership, and passion, we only hire the best instructors to work with our children. It's imperative that you not only enjoy working with children, but you also have outstanding soccer experience and are incredibly passionate about spreading the love of the sport. We want our Soccer Shots sessions to be the BEST 30-45 minutes of each child's week-as we strive to develop basic soccer skills, teamwork and healthy lifestyles in each of our children.
Soccer Shots Kalamazoo is searching for a Full-Time FUN ambassador to join in a HYBRID role. Part of your role will be coaching 15-20 hours per week during the season, and the other part will be coordinating marketing efforts for all locations in our territories! We coach in daycares, and at parks or indoor locations, year-round during mornings and afternoons, Monday through Saturday. Marketing includes email campaigns, social media, flyers and posters, and other local marketing efforts. We provide training, apparel, equipment, and all curriculum materials. We offer rewarding work in a great environment with the opportunity to create FUN for the youngest beginner athletes in our communities! Full-Time employees receive an annual salary and can enroll in company Health Care Benefits plan.
The ideal Coach MUST meet the following criteria:
- Safety-conscious, your #1 priority is the safety of children under your care.
- Caring, you engage with each child through specific and positive affirmation.
- Organized, you plan ahead and are systematic in routine, conducting each session according to the lesson plan and working with children to maintain appropriate order for the age group.
- Responsible, you are committed to doing what is expected as the coach and "face" of Soccer Shots.
- Energetic, you bring Soccer Shots to life by creating a fun and exciting atmosphere that leads a child to smile and participate.
- Motivated, you are a team-player and present your best self in all aspects of the role.
The ideal Marketing Coordinator MUST meet the following criteria:
- Attentive to detail: Provide trustworthy and CORRECT information to families and directors.
- Computer and Tech savvy: Manage webpages, build flyers, social media posts, and email campaigns.
- Excellent time-management skills: Organize, plan and meet posting deadlines.
- Team-oriented: Work with territory directors to execute location-specific marketing strategies.
- Creative: Utilize brand assets to reach target audience in exciting and actionable ways.
- Flexible: Work from home, office and around the community!
* You must hold a valid Driver's License and have reliable transportation. A successful candidate must pass a Child Abuse History Clearance and Background Check.
