In this role you'll contribute to the efficiency of payroll operations by resolving payroll issues, supporting process improvements, and delivering timely, accurate payroll that supports a positive employee experience.What You'll DoAs a Senior Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Processing payroll accurately and on time using various payroll software platforms*
- Reconciliations and managing payroll-related reports*
- Handling employee inquiries related to payroll and benefits*
- Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations*
- Updating and maintaining payroll records and databases.
- Minimum of 35 years of payroll experience, including regular use of payroll or HRIS systems to process employee payroll accurately and efficiently- strong prevailing wage and certified payroll experience is required. *
- Working knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll regulations with the ability to maintain compliance in day-to-day payroll activities.*
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage confidential information while meeting strict deadlines.*
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to coach and mentor a team.
