Job Description
I and C Engineering Professional Associate Duration: 12 months Location: Onsite - IDJoin Our Team as an I and C Engineering Professional Associate and Shape the Future of Semiconductor Manufacturing!Are you passionate about cutting-edge industrial control systems and eager to make a tangible impact in high-tech manufacturing? We are seeking a talented and dedicated I and C Engineering Professional Associate to lead critical instrumentation and controls projects at our state-of-the-art facility in Boise, ID. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of advanced control systemshelping to drive innovation and excellence in semiconductor production.Required Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, or related mechanical or chemical disciplines from an ABET-accredited university
- Minimum of 5+ years experience in engineering design of industrial control systems
- Strong knowledge of International Fire Code (IFC), International Mechanical Code (IMC), UL, and IEEE standards
- Proven expertise in selecting and specifying electrical and controls equipment
- Experience reviewing vendor submittals against contractual and technical criteria
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills in multidisciplinary settings
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Over 2 years of experience with semiconductor manufacturing tools, including design, installation, or cleanroom application
- Hands-on experience working directly with subcontractors and construction teams
- Proficiency with BIM/CAD tools such as Revit or AutoCAD
- A proactive mindset geared toward continuous learning, innovation, and process improvement
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related fields
- At least 5 years of relevant industry experience in controls engineering, ideally within semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing environments
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-tech environment with occasional travel to project sites
- Knowledge of safety and compliance standards relevant to industrial and manufacturing control
