Job Description

I&S Inc. of NY is seeking an experienced Workover Rig Operator to lead rig operations and supervise a crew of 3–4 personnel. This is a full-time position offering steady work and no seasonal layoffs.

This role is ideal for a hands-on operator who can confidently run tubing operations, manage daily rig activity, and maintain strict safety standards. Out-of-town assignments are compensated with $170 per day per diem in addition to hourly pay.

You will operate and maintain a workover rig, oversee tubing procedures, and ensure all equipment and crew activities meet company and OSHA safety requirements. Responsibilities include operating tongs, elevators, slips, pump and tank systems, monitoring rig performance, performing inspections and routine maintenance, and supervising crew productivity and compliance.

What We Need

• 3–5 years of workover rig operating experience
• Proven ability to run all aspects of rig operations
• Strong knowledge of tubing and rigging procedures
• Experience with pump and tank operations
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to pass DOT drug screening

This role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing, standing for extended periods, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
