Job Opportunity: ICC-Certified Special InspectorLocation: Salt Lake City, UTHourly: $40-$48Status: Full-Time, Immediate OpeningJob SummaryWe are seeking an ICC-Certified Special Inspector with a mandatory focus on Reinforced Concrete. You will be responsible for on-site inspections, ensuring all structural components meet approved plans, specifications, and current building codes. This role requires a blend of high-level field expertise and meticulous administrative documentation.Key Responsibilities
- Technical Inspections for reinforced concrete, structural masonry, and steel
- Blueprint Analysis
- Documentation
- RFI Management
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; technical degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is a plus.
- Mandatory Certification:ICC Reinforced Concrete Special Inspector certification is required.
- Preferred Certifications:
- ICC Post-Tensioned Reinforced Concrete
- ICC High-Strength Bolting
- ICC Structural Steel and Welding
- ICC Pre-Stressed Concrete
- ICC Structural Masonry
- Experience: ASTM/AASHTO standards
