Join our dedicated team as a Registered Nurse (RN) and help coordinate exceptional patient care. The RN provides quality nursing care for patients requiring a critical care setting during hospitalization. Care reflects the AACN Standards and is delivered professionally, appropriate to each patient s age, physical ability, and intellectual development. The nurse demonstrates proficiency in delivering treatment and adapting care to meet the needs of one or more of the following patient populations: pediatric, adult, and geriatric. NVRH has a four-bed open ICU. Critical care experience and at least two years of RN experience. Must be able to read telemetry. Nestled in the heart of Vermont's historic Northeast Kingdom, NVRH is a cherished 25-bed independent and nonprofit critical access hospital. At NVRH, we deliver primary and preventive care, surgical and specialty services, inpatient and outpatient care, and round-the-clock emergency services manned by our dedicated board-certified physicians. IMPORTANT: Housing and Transportation Requirements Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital (NVRH) is located in a rural area of northeastern Vermont, approximately two hours from the nearest major airport. Public transportation is not available, and there are no local taxi services or ride-share options. A dependable personal vehicle is required for the duration of this assignment. NVRH does not provide housing. While we can provide a list of local housing resources as a courtesy, the traveler is solely responsible for identifying, securing, and paying for housing before arriving for their assignment. We understand the importance of a seamless onboarding process; therefore, we request that all required credentials be uploaded five business days before your start date.
