  • Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
  • Hours/week: 48
  • Employment Type: Contract / Travel
  • Licenses/Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIH (CPI available at facility for $100)
  • Experience: 2+ years ICU experience required; Epic experience preferred

What You’ll Do
  • Provide high-quality critical care to ICU patients, including lab sticks, EKGs, and line starts
  • Operate advanced ICU equipment such as Alaris IV pumps, Servo ventilators, and GE monitors
  • Monitor and respond to patient needs with a 1:2 or flexible patient ratio, sometimes up to 1:3 or 1:4 on MS/PCU units
  • Administer medications and treatments in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and recovery
  • Float to other units including ED or PACU as needed
  • Comply with all hospital safety and infection control protocols, including COVID-19 procedures
What You NeedRequired:
  • Valid Louisiana RN license and applicable certifications (ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIH)
  • Minimum 2 years ICU experience
  • Epic EMR experience preferred
  • Ability to float across units and care for isolation patients, including fit for N95 masks
Preferred:
  • Experience with ICU equipment and critical care procedures
  • Flexibility to work weekends and night shifts
