• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience, with CVICU experience highly preferred
• Expertise in Impella and CRRT/NXSTAGE devices (hard stop requirements)
• Proficiency with Epic electronic medical records
• Ability to manage patient ratios of 1:2 (flexing to 1:3 when needed)
• Strong clinical skills including lab sticks, EKGs, and line starts
• Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
• Ability to float to various ICU, ED, PACU, and MS/PCU units as needed
• Comfortable handling complex equipment such as Alaris IV Pumps, Servo I ventilators, Fresenius CRRT Dialysis machines, Edwards Lifesciences monitors, and more

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with advanced hemodynamic monitoring and complex cardiac devices
• Past exposure to COVID-19 patient care and isolation protocols
• Multilingual abilities or additional certifications in critical care

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Valid RN license in good standing
• Current ACLS, BLS, CPI, and NIH certifications (CPI available at the facility for $100 if needed)
• Epic electronic health record experience
• Valid N95 Mask size knowledge

Other Requirements:

• Weekend coverage required (4 weekends per 4-week schedule)
• No call required
• Limited RTO allowance of up to 5 days
• Flexible float requirements across all ICU settings, including occasional float to ED, PACU, MS/PCU units (with 1:4 ratios)
• Ability to handle COVID-19 isolation care and use all necessary PPE
