What You’ll Do
  • Float to multiple ICU settings based on staffing and patient acuity needs, including Neuro ICU, Surgical ICUs, Medical ICUs (MICU x2), Cardiology/Diagnostics, CVICU, and SICU/MICU/NCCU.
  • Provide critical care nursing in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safe, high-quality patient outcomes.
  • Float within units of equivalent or lower acuity according to the facility float policy.
  • Manage ICU patient care with required proficiencies including IV starts, telemetry, and ventilator management experience.
  • Use EPIC for documentation and workflow (facility EHR).
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support continuity of care across units.
What You NeedRequired
  • 2+ years ICU experience
  • BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
  • Proficiency with EPIC
  • IV start ability
  • Telemetry experience
  • Ventilator management experience
Preferred
  • Previous travel nursing experience
About the AssignmentJoin a weekend Critical Care Float Pool supporting a variety of ICU units driven by real-time staffing and patient acuity.
