ICU Registered Nurse Day Shift Metairie, LALooking for a rewarding ICU nursing opportunity in Metairie, LA? Hours/Week: 48 hours/week
Employment Type: Contract / Temporary
License/Certs: Active RN license, ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIH (CPI available onsite for $100)
Experience: 2+ years ICU experience, Epic EMR experience preferred

Pay Rate: $56.95/hour

What Youll Do:

Provide high-quality care to ICU patients, including lab sticks, EKGs, and line starts
Monitor patients using advanced equipment such as Alaris IV pumps, CADD PCA pumps, and Servo I ventilators
Manage critical care tasks, including dialysis, cardiac monitoring, and ventilator management
Float across ICUs, ED, PACU, and MS/PCU units as needed, adapting to various patient ratios
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Maintain compliance with infection control protocols, including care for isolation patients

What You Need:

Valid RN license in Louisiana or appropriate compact state
Minimum of 2 years ICU experience
Certification in ACLS, BLS, CPI, and NIH
Ability to float as required and handle complex critical care equipment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
