Job Description

Job Title: Travel ICU RN Candidates with pending Alaska RN licenses accepted; an active Alaska RN license is required for auto-offerLocation: Anchorage, AK 99508Duration: 13+ WeeksStart Date: November 23, 2026Shift: 3x12-hour shifts (Days: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM / Nights: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM)

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience.

  • Previous travel experience required.

  • Epic charting experience required.

  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS; TNCC preferred.

  • Alaska RN license required for auto-offer; pending license accepted.

  • Patient ratio: 1:2.

  • Local candidates not accepted; permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility.

Required Skills: Ventilator management, cardiac and vasoactive drip titration, arterial line management, central/PICC line care, ABG interpretation, dysrhythmia management, stroke care, ICP monitoring, and critical care management. Neuro/Surgical ICU experience preferred.

Facility Details:

  • Acute care hospital; Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma Center.

  • 407 staffed beds.

  • Epic EMR, scrubs provided, free parking.

Additional Information: Weekends required; no on-call. May float to similar units. Block scheduling unavailable. All time-off requests must be submitted upfront and are subject to approval.
