Responsibilities
Provide expert ICU nursing care to critically ill patients on site.
Monitor patient status, interpret vital signs, and escalate when needed.
Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards.
Engage in continuous learning to advance clinical skills and knowledge.
Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient care and outcomes.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to optimize patient treatment plans.
Uphold patient confidentiality and ethical standards in all interactions.
Demonstrate measurable performance through adherence to clinical targets and pipelines.
Provide patient and family education to enhance understanding of care plans.
Support shift handoffs with clear, concise communication of patient status.
Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements to drive results.
Maintain equipment readiness and report any malfunctions promptly.
Experience/Qualifications
Active RN license and current ICU/critical care experience.
Proficient in hemodynamic monitoring and interpreting ICU vital signs.
Infection control compliance and adherence to safety protocols.
Effective interprofessional communication and shift handoff skills.
Ability to escalate patient status promptly and initiate escalation protocols.
Strong documentation with accurate charting of patient care and outcomes.
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Quality and performance mindset with adherence to clinical targets and pipelines.
Patient and family education communication skills.
Equipment management: readiness, troubleshooting, and prompt reporting of malfunctions.
