As an Ultrasound Technologist, you'll combine technical expertise with compassionate patient care to perform non-invasive imaging examinations that provide vital information for medical decision-making. Every scan you perform helps guide treatment plans and improve patient outcomes, making your role an essential part of the healthcare team.

What You'll Do:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations using specialized imaging equipment.
- Prepare and position patients for procedures while ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity.
- Capture high-quality images of organs, tissues, blood vessels, and other anatomical structures.
- Evaluate image quality and ensure studies meet diagnostic standards.
- Communicate with patients to explain procedures and address questions or concerns.
- Assist physicians by providing diagnostic imaging information that supports patient care decisions.
- Maintain accurate patient records and examination documentation.
- Ensure equipment is functioning properly and report maintenance concerns when needed.
- Adhere to infection prevention, safety, and quality assurance standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and patient-focused imaging environment.
Qualifications:
Education-
- Degree from an accredited Medical Imaging Program required.
Licensure & Certifications-
- ARRT or ARDMS certification required.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Current licensure as an Ultrasound Technologist in the state of practice, where applicable
Compensation:
Hourly Range - $32.00-$48.00
