Job Description
The Corrections Inmate Worker prepares food items in accordance with OP-X production requirements. Assists with production activities as directed by Aramark Supervisors. Performs various duties in accordance with Aramark sanitation standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare all food items according to recipe cards and prep lists according to OP-X standards.
- Implement accurate food handling procedures.
- May be a lead in the storeroom / warehouse
- Maintain accurate inventory levels
- May help ensure accurate pulls
- Maintain clean and orderly refrigerators and work areas. Make sure the stations are accurately cleaned, sanitized, and organized at the end of the shift. (Including cleaning of kitchen equipment)
- Implement the Correctional Facility security policies related to handling and securing kitchen tools and equipment.
- Maintain a safe, sanitary work environment, which conforms to all standards and regulations. Adhere to safety policies and accident reporting procedures.
- Assist with receiving, unloading, checking in of product.
- Completes all required training, including graduation from the Aramark IN2WORK program.
- Maintain professional uniform attire.

Qualifications
- Currently incarcerated at a Correctional Facility
- Must maintain the ability to work in the kitchen.
