Job Description

NOW Courier is seeking a friendly, customer-focused Independent Contractor to handle a dedicated distribution route. This is a consistent, local opportunity for drivers looking to operate a Cargo or Sprinter Van. To support our partners in this expansion, we are offering a Vehicle Lease/Rental Program for our 2016 and newer fleet. We believe every delivery is more than just a drop-off—it's an opportunity to make someone's day.

Your Mission

Deliver with Clockwork Precision: Ensure that cargo is picked up and delivered to our valued customers on time, maintaining NOW Courier's reputation for reliability and punctuality.
Route Mastery: Utilize GPS or mapping software to plan and follow efficient routes, ensuring timely deliveries and optimal fuel usage.
Exceptional Customer Service: Greet customers with professionalism and warmth, handling questions or issues with empathy.
Problem-Solving Skills: Think quickly and adapt when faced with challenges such as traffic delays or address changes to ensure smooth and efficient deliveries.

Route Details & Schedule

This is a new opening for a driver to utilize a company-provided vehicle.

Estimated Commission: Approximately 1,600.00 per week.
Commission Structure: Per Piece.
Schedule: Monday–Friday.
Start/End Time: 9:00AM-10:00AM Start, typically completing by 5:00PM.
Required Vehicle: Company-provided Cargo or Sprinter Van.

Requirements

To maintain our industry-leading fleet of professional drivers, you must meet the following:

Vehicle & Leasing:

Leasing Program: Candidates will be leasing/renting a vehicle through our internal solution to fulfill route requirements.
Vehicle Quality: All leased vehicles are 2016 model year or newer and must pass a multi-point inspection to ensure modern safety standards.

Professional Standards:

Age: Be at least 21 years of age.
Smartphone: Possess a smartphone capable of running our driver app.
Licensing & Insurance: Hold a valid driver's license and commercial insurance coverage with a minimum of $300,000 combined single limit liability.
Pre-Employment Screening: You must successfully pass a comprehensive pre-employment process which includes a Driving History Review (past 36 months), Criminal Background Check, and Substance Abuse (Drug) Screening.
