Description

NOW Courier is looking for a dependable Independent Contractor Delivery Driver to take on an established weekday distribution route based in Indianapolis.

This is a high-mileage route averaging approximately 1,400–1,800 miles per week, so we’re looking for someone who is comfortable spending significant time on the road and can consistently manage a full delivery schedule.

Contractors must provide their own minivan or larger qualifying vehicle.

Your Mission

As an Independent Contractor Driver, you’ll be responsible for safely and efficiently completing scheduled deliveries throughout the assigned service area. You’ll load and organize your vehicle at the start of the day, follow your assigned delivery schedule, and provide reliable service to each stop.

This opportunity is a strong fit for someone who enjoys independent work, is comfortable with longer-distance driving, and can manage their day without constant supervision.

Route Details & Schedule

• Schedule: Monday–Friday
• Start Time: Approximately 6:00 AM
• Final Delivery: By approximately 5:00 PM
• Stops: Approximately 15–50 per day
• Mileage: Approximately 1,400–1,800 miles per week
• Compensation: $375 flat rate per day
• Estimated Weekly Gross: Approximately $1,875
• Some distribution/loading responsibilities are required before departure

Independent Contractors are responsible for their own fuel, vehicle expenses, maintenance, insurance, and applicable taxes.

Requirements

To maintain our industry-leading fleet of professional drivers, you must meet the following:

• Age: Be at least 21 years of age.
• Vehicle: The vehicle must be 2014 model year or newer and suitable for delivery. The vehicle must be in good working condition, maintain a professional appearance, be rust-free, and pass a multi-point vehicle inspection.
• Smartphone: Possess a smartphone capable of running our driver app.
• Licensing & Insurance: Hold a valid driver's license and required insurance coverage. Independent Contractors must enroll in While Under Dispatch (WUD) insurance through our third-party contractor management system.
• Pre-Employment Screening: You must successfully pass a comprehensive pre-employment process before beginning work, which includes:
• Driving History Review (past 36 months)
• Criminal Background Check
• Substance Abuse (Drug) Screening
