Location: Remote — Iowa-based positionEmployment Type: Full-timeCompensation: $80k-$90k (based on experience)

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and clinically strong Licensed Therapist to join our growing Residential Treatment Program. This is a full-time role providing direct clinical services to individuals receiving outpatient behavioral health and addiction treatment services.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping clients achieve long-term recovery, comfortable providing care in a treatment environment, and experienced with assessments, treatment planning, individual therapy, group therapy, and timely clinical documentation.

What You'll Do

As a Therapist, you will provide direct clinical care and support throughout the client's treatment experience. Responsibilities include:

• Complete biopsychosocial assessments upon intake
• Develop, maintain, and update individualized treatment plans
• Conduct weekly or biweekly individual therapy sessions
• Facilitate group sessions, including process and psychoeducational groups
• Assess client progress toward treatment goals and objectives
• Administer and review clinical assessments, including PHQ-9, GAD-7, and C-SSRS
• Identify and escalate safety concerns, clinical deterioration, or the need for a higher level of care
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in KIPU EMR within 24 hours of each client encounter
• Ensure documentation supports medical necessity and meets clinical standards
• Participate in clinical meetings, documentation reviews, and quality improvement activities

What We're Looking For

Minimum qualifications include:

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field
• Independent Iowa licensure (LMHC, LISW, LMFT)
• Experience providing individual and group therapy
• Experience with clinical assessments, treatment planning, and documentation
• Ability to facilitate groups
• Strong communication, organization, and clinical follow-through
• Current CPR/First Aid certification
• Ability to successfully complete a background check

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with substance use disorders and/or co-occurring mental health conditions
• Experience in outpatient, PHP, IOP, residential, or addiction treatment settings
• KIPU EMR experience preferred
