Job Description
Working with a Safety-First mindset, Industrial Cleaners maintain a safe and clean workspace for operation. Industrial Cleaners are responsible for cleaning and maintaining their assigned area and machinery per company standards, as well as executing all tasks in compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain a clean and efficient work area to support production via cleaning of the furnace tower, spinner deck, filter house, curing oven, conveyor belts, and ducts.
- Must safely and efficiently operate forklift, a Zamboni, scissor lift, high-power pressure washer and other heavy equipment.
- Will use tools, such as shovels, air hoses and wands, chisels, pneumatic equipment, hot wash guns, scrapers, dry ice machine, and basic hand tools, to complete cleaning and maintenance of work areas and equipment.
- Will assist Yard Technicians as needed with maintaining the cleanliness of the raw material yard and waste house and assist with receiving raw material orders.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have previous manufacturing or industrial experience
- Experience with automated equipment preferred
- Must be able to work safely in confined spaces, at heights, and lift up to 60lbs unassisted
- Must be comfortable using basic hand tools, powered industrial equipment, and high-powered cleaning equipment
PAY:
- Pay starts at $21.50
HOURS:
- Tues – Fri or Mon-Thurs (6am-4pm)
