Industrial Electrical Helper - Moore's Electrical & Mechanical

Location: Lynchburg/Altavista Area

The Role:

The Industrial Electrical Helper is responsible for assisting the job site mechanic and/or foreman with the servicing of our Industrial customers. Job sites will vary amongst manufacturing facilities throughout the area. Projects may consist of lighting changeouts/upgrades, motor/control work, running large conduit and pulling large wire, etc.

What You'll Do:

Assist experienced Electrical Mechanics with installing and/or repairing electrical systems in industrial manufacturing facilities.
Learn and follow safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and others.
Gather, retrieve, deliver, and organize material in specific job site areas.
Ability to read a tape measure, use hand tools, work from heights and in cramped/awkward spaces at times.
Great personality, positive attitude, sense of humor, and a tremendous work ethic.

You Bring:

High School Diploma or equivalent
Strong interest in the trades and a desire to learn and develop new skills.
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environments.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Commitment to safety and following established protocols.
Pre-employment drug screen and background check will be performed.
