Industrial Electrician

Pay Range: $31.09-$37.45

This role offers a $1,000.00 hiring bonus!

The first $500.00 installment will be paid after 90 days of successful employment with Weyerhaeuser, and another $500.00 installment at 6 months.

This position provides electrical maintenance support to our sawmill located in McComb, MS. Responsibilities include installing, repairing, troubleshooting and maintaining electric motors, scanners, drives, and PLC's on equipment used in manufacturing random length lumber. This position will also provide basic mechanical support as needed. Weyerhaeuser offers stable employment, excellent pay and benefits, and opportunities to advance.

• An Associate's degree in Electrical Technology
• Minimum of three years of electrical experience in an industrial environment is preferred
• Knowledge and experience with motor control systems
• Ability to program, repair, and troubleshoot PLC's
• Willing and able to work any shift, weekends, overtime and holidays as needed
• A resume detailing education and work history is required to be considered and must be attached to your online application

Preferred:

• Basic mechanical skills
• Knowledge of hydraulics
• Experience with computerized maintenance systems
