Industrial Engineer

The main focus of this role is streamlining production processes by employing lean methodologies to resolve inefficiencies. This position oversees a team of engineering professionals, guiding their development and ensuring a focus on continuous enhancement.

Key Responsibilities:

- Implement and lead site-wide lean strategies, including 5S initiatives, value stream mapping, and visual management, aimed at boosting efficiency and reducing waste. - Act as a catalyst for change, fostering growth among leadership teams while promoting a culture of ongoing improvement. - Optimize manufacturing processes and layouts to ensure the smooth flow of materials and workflows. - Coordinate and track improvement projects across all departments, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and timely completion. - Plan and design layouts for machines and equipment to enhance factory output and safety. - Oversee capital spending for equipment, from initial design input to vendor selection and implementation. - Collaborate closely with operational leadership to devise a roadmap that ensures superior operational performance. - Enhance tools for capacity modeling and production planning, ensuring accurate time standardization. - Guide and develop the capabilities of engineering team members, fostering both performance and capability growth. - Execute other tasks as required.

Desired Skills and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering. - At least 5 years of experience in industrial engineering, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial capacity. - Expertise in data collection, root cause diagnosis, and pragmatic problem-solving strategies related to industrial services. - Proven track record of employing processes that enhance throughput. - Solid grasp of lean practices. - Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, and effective presentation abilities. - Highly motivated and adaptable, capable of prioritizing under shifting demands.
