Job Summary
The function of Inventory Personnel is to receive, monitor, and maintain all items necessary for the manufacture and sale of Benoit products. Inventory Personnel reports to the Supervisor-Inventory and exercises authority over no other employees.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Receive inventory items from external suppliers and internal manufacturing. Perform receiving inspection as directed by the Inventory Supervisor.
- Move required products into or out of inventory as instructed and update inventory status in records.
- Remove protectors, clean connections, drift, etc., as required by the order to prepare products for assembly and test operations.
- Complete required documents when moving items into, or out of, inventory and return completed forms to the supervisor.
- Perform scheduled evaluations of inventory conditions.
- Assist Supervisor-Inventory in maintaining accurate inventory counts.
- Maintain a safe and environmentally clean work area.
- Be “ON-CALL” as required.
