Industrial Service Electrician
Full-Time | Local Position | $25–$35 per hour
Job Summary
IEG is seeking skilled Industrial Service Electricians—either Journeymen or Apprentices with at least three years of industrial electrical experience. This is a full‑time, direct‑hire, locally based role with some travel required, but it is not strictly a traveling electrician position. We are looking for dependable professionals capable of working independently and excelling in fast‑paced industrial environments.

Ideal candidates are:
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Highly technical and versatile
- Comfortable handling multiple tasks and priorities
- Experienced in industrial environments
- Capable of training and mentoring newer electricians
Required Knowledge
Candidates should have solid understanding of:
- NEC Code
- Running electrical jobs of varying sizes
- Feeder sizing requirements
- Tooling needs for industrial projects
- PPE requirements and electrical safety practices
- Lighting systems, transformers, motor controls, and switchboards
Required Skills
Candidates must be proficient in:
- Electrical wiring
- Threading, bending, and installing EMT and rigid conduit (½"–4")
- Using Microsoft Office, Outlook, and ERP systems
- Applying mathematical skills for electrical calculations
- Reading and interpreting sketches, blueprints, drawings, and specifications
