Job Description
Our client is a metal fabrication and boiler component manufacturer based in Newark, Delaware who primarily builds and repairs industrial boiler parts and pressure components used in power generation and heavy industry. They are seeking an Industrial Laborer right now who is proficient in loading, unloading, and moving materials within or near plant, yard or work site.
Move freight, stock or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, ships or containers, by hand or using trucks, tractors or other equipment
Assist welders, machine operators, truck drivers, and others in moving and fabrication of materials
Operation of powered hand tools and other hand tools
Load shipments, belongings or materials and perform all tasks in a safe manner
Experience Required
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and be on feet for 8 hours
Must be able to work flexible schedules with the ability to work extended hours including weekends, holidays, evenings, and/or overnight shifts as required.
Must be able to read a ruler, use powered hand tools, and the ability to perform basic math calculations
Must be 2+ years working in an industrial environment
