Locations: Millsboro, Delaware

Available Shifts: Day, Evening, and Overnight

$2,000 Sign-On Bonus*

Level C Mechanics handle routine preventative maintenance and repairs while building a foundation for a long-term career. Essential Job Functions and Duties

Inspect machines regularly for signs of malfunctions, including visual and sound inspection.
Install, assemble, and test new machines and equipment.
Complete work orders as assigned.
Perform routine preventative maintenance and repairs.
Adhere to all safety requirements, including personal protective equipment (PPE), preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions. Lockout-tagout procedures and process safety management related matters.

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED or vocational training.
Entry-level general maintenance with 0-3 years' previous work-related experience, including on-the-job and informal training.
Understands the basic theory, practical knowledge, and skills to function as an entry-level mechanic safely and successfully.
Must demonstrate proven ability in at least one of the following technical skill areas:
Maintenance Fundamentals
Electrical Power
Mechanical Concepts
Electrical Controls
Pneumatics
Hydraulics
Analog & Drive Control
PLCs
Welding SMAW
Welding GTAW
Possesses additional basic general maintenance skills including but not limited to welding (Arc/Stick/TIG), math for mechanics, assembly, conveyors, mechanical drives, pneumatics, hydraulics, fabrication and safety.
Certificates preferred.
