Industrial Maintenance Supervisor

Job title: Industrial Maintenance SupervisorReports to: Plant ManagerSupervisory responsibilities: Maintenance TechniciansSummary/objective: Steel Craft Technologies (SCT) is looking for an Industrial Maintenance Supervisor for their Grand Rapids, MI plant. The maintenance employee is responsible for addressing all facility and equipment maintenance issues. Candidates must want to be a hands-on manager that can help teach others while also managing at the same time.Essential functions:

• Perform maintenance activities, whether preventative, scheduled or unscheduled.
• Maintain the maintenance schedule.
• Complete work assignments and priorities by collaborating with managers and co-workers.
• Pursue facility and equipment improvement as appropriate.
• Perform equipment inspection.
• Assist the Plant Manager in overseeing the tasks and responsibilities of Maintenance Technicians.
• Follow all safety rules and report unsafe work conditions to management.
• Candidate must be willing to come in early, and stay late as needed.

• Must have 5 years of experience in a maintenance management position or similar.
• Must have a good understanding of common shop maintenance requirements.
• Candidate must have high school or equivalent education.
• Candidate must have a valid driver's license.

• Must have use of all limbs
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds
