Pay: $30–36/hr (depending on experience)
Shift:
Day Shift Mon-Thu 6a-4:30p (start and end times can be flexible based on business needs)
Overtime available as needed (Fri-Sat OT as needed)
Description:
Cannonball Recruiting is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for a steel fabrication and machining company in Irving, TX.
The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing production equipment to keep manufacturing operations running safely and efficiently. This is a hands-on role for someone with strong mechanical and/or electrical maintenance experience in a heavy industrial environment.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience working with CNC machines, welding equipment, overhead cranes, or similar industrial equipment
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, bearings, and gearboxes
Ability to read blueprints, mechanical drawings, and electrical schematics
PLC and VFD troubleshooting experience are ideal
Must provide own basic tools and toolbox
Comfortable working in a non-climate controlled environment and ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
Job Duties:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and facility machinery
- Perform preventive maintenance to reduce equipment downtime
- Repair CNC machines, welding equipment, overhead cranes, presses, and other industrial equipment
- Diagnose equipment problems and repair or replace mechanical and electrical components
- Maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems, including motors, wiring, and control panels
