Job Description
IMKO Workforce Solutions is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for a family owed recycling company. Location: Kansas City, MO -Responsible for working with the plant manager in the support and maintenance of the productionequipment & staff. Position will perform preventative and corrective maintenance daily,troubleshooting, and repairs of mechanical equipment and systems in our wire recycling plant.Responsibilities include, not limited to:
- Maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment--daily maintenance on granulatormachines
- Documentation of maintenance schedules and work performed
- Participate in special plant projects
- Anticipate production needs
- This position may be required to perform stand-by duties
- Other duties as assignedRequired Knowledge:
- Mechanical systems, i.e. gearboxes, gears, chains, sprockets,
- Bearings
- Lubrication & lubrication systems
- Hydraulics
- Pneumatics,
- Industrial electrical, i.e. 480, 220, 110 volt systems, motor controls, etc.
- Mechanical aptitudeSkills Required:
- Journey-level experience
- Willing cooperative attitude
- Team player
- Troubleshooting skills
- Oral communication skills
- Knowledge of all safety practices related to the industry
- Organizational skills
- Valid driver’ s license
- Current MVRJob Type: Full-timePay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hourSchedule:
- 8 hour shift 3: 45 p.m. to 12: 15 p.m.Experience:
- Programmable logic controllers: 1 year (Preferred)
- Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Required)Work Location: In person#INDKC
