Pay: $30.00/hourShift: Monday – FridayHours: 4:00 PM – 12:30 AMLocation: Joliet, IL
Position Overview
We are hiring an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to support equipment maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair production and facility equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime
- Maintain and repair forklifts, conveyors, dock doors, and related equipment
- Complete inspections, installations, and equipment repairs
- Perform welding and metal fabrication as needed
- Track work orders and maintenance activities
- Follow safety procedures and support workplace organization standards
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Experience working on:
- Forklifts
- Conveyors
- Dock equipment
- Facility systems
- Welding and fabrication experience required
- Comfortable lifting up to 70 lbs and performing physical work
- Basic computer experience including Microsoft Word, Excel, and web-based systems
- LEAN / 5S experience preferred
