Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic/Millwright to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona!
What you're responsible for:
- Reading blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
- Installing, aligning, dismantling and moving stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment, such as pumps, fans, tanks, conveyors, furnaces and generators according to layout plans using hand and power tools
- Operating hoisting and lifting devices such as cranes, jacks and tractors to position machinery and parts during the installation, set-up and repair of machinery
- Inspecting and examining machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions
- Installing, troubleshooting and maintaining power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Cleaning, lubricating and performing other routine maintenance work on equipment.
- Assembling machinery and equipment prior to installation using hand and power tools and welding equipment
Qualifications
To join our team:
- You have experience working safely in a heavy industrial environment
- You are comfortable working indoors, outdoors, and in varying weather conditions
- You are proficient in welding and basic equipment repair
- You have experience completing preventative maintenance tasks, checklists, and work orders with proper parts documentation
- You are eager to learn and operate state-of-the-art equipment and diagnostics
- You are able to work independently, prioritize tasks based on production urgency, and stay focused on execution
