Job Description

Join a dedicated manufacturing team where you'll leverage your expertise in preventative and corrective maintenance to ensure optimum performance of production machinery and facility infrastructure during the first shift. Utilize your advanced skills in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems, and control systems, including PLCs and VFDs, to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial machinery.

Key responsibilities include conducting detailed inspections and recalibrations to uphold operational standards, employing precision tools and adherence to rigorous safety practices such as lock-out/tag-out procedures and compliance with OSHA and NFPA guidelines. You'll also manage facility systems like HVAC, power distribution, and participate in grounds maintenance when necessary.

This role demands keen documentation skills for maintaining accurate records in a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) and overseeing third-party contractor work. Quick response to machinery breakdowns and emergency situations, coupled with a proactive approach to training peers on safety and procedural advancements, are integral to the position. Your contribution will significantly enhance our manufacturing efficiency.

Qualified candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED, with a preference for an associate degree in industrial maintenance or a related field. A minimum of five years’ experience in industrial maintenance or equivalent technical training is essential, along with expertise in reading schematics and eligibility for forklift/crane and EPA 608 certification.

Physical requirements include frequent standing, heavy lifting, and navigating a dynamic manufacturing environment. Flexibility for occasional overtime and off-hour call-ins is expected. We provide reasonable accommodations to enable all individuals to perform the essential duties of the position.
